I have decided to try carbon wrap gills on the zed. I can't decide if it is 'pointless fake carbon chav' or not.

I know R37 has some and I do like the look of them on a black car so I thought I would have a go on my montreal blue.

I bought a pair of gills for a reasonable price on ebay along with some Scotchprint 1080 carbon wrap, this is apparently designed for cars whereas the di-noc is not.

Wrapping is harder than it looks and z3 gills are maybe not the easiest thing to wrap when you have never done it before! So yes, I made a bit of a mess of it! But I managed to get it looking passable (from a distance while squinting!).

So what do you think, yes or no before I do the other side?????

Those at Newby can see it in the flesh tomorrow.

im not sure on a blue car, it might grow on me. Im curious as to how you did inside the vent bit with the mesh. The wrap i had didnt quite stretch far enough.
