A friend of mine has just yesterday purchased a 330 convertible on a 53 plate. On his way home the engine management light came on (orange). He has put a code reader on it and no codes came up but it said "engine running lean". He has cleared it but suspects it may come on again. Any ideas much appreciated.
Cheers
Dave

Maybe worth a look at the intake hoses in case they are perished and letting in unmetered air?

On the code reader can you also see pending codes. On mine it gives both active and pending

Check the dipstick in pushed in and sealed , may seem daft but if you dont have a good seal it will throw errors up ,also same with the filler cap .
