Can anyone identify these disconnected plugs in my engine bay?

All Z3’s have the same wiring harness, so it will be for item that are not fitted to your car.

They are a legacy from the original James Bond build. Clockwise from top:
  • Rocket launchers
  • Machine guns
  • Smoke screen
  • Rocket launcher
  • Revolving number plate.

On a serious note as per #2 post they are for optional things like outside temperature senders, headlamp washers, air con etc.

Thanks all. Seems a little dodgy having them dangling around in there with all the water, dirt and grime flying around (and oil and coolant and whatever else decides to pi$$ out of my engine).
I think I'll zip tie them together and cap them off somehow

Good old fashioned grease is good for plugging loose connectors. These unused connectors won’t come to any harm where they are, no need to be concerned about them.

Tony.
