Zedshed Cymru in action this morning for Julians 1.9 M43, EML lit up on him in the week, put BMW Scanner on it to reveal a Camshaft Sensor code. Cleared the code and ran the engine, code returned. No spare to hand so couldn't change it. Quick check over the engine also revealed a split in the crankcase breather pipe just where it pushes on to the camshaft cove. It is the double hose at the back of the engine, as temporary fix cut back the wrapper that holds both hoses together to allow the duff hose to reach a bit futher to the stub outlet, trimmed the split off the hose and refitted it with a zip tie. New one to be ordered, cheap on ebay, camshaft sensor also to be ordered, will be getting a known brand one. Probably fit them next weekend if they come in and we are allowed out.

I was hoping you might say that. Delphi has always been good for me with wheel speed sensors and I'm interested to see how their camshaft sensors are.
