This is a little a bit of a strange request but I have never actually been up close to a Z3M Coupe to know the answer myself.

So I would like to know if the boot space would be big enough to put a racing bicycle with its wheels out of it, obviously I would also need to take the wheels as well...

Thank you in advance for your help.

@POG, it's tech questions like your's that break the mould and make the forum interesting. I love the look of the coupe but have never seen one personally and always wondered what kind of space there is in the hatch. JIM

On phone at moment so will struggle with a picture, but the boot is big.

No idea why you'd want to drive your beautiful Z3 coupe and then drag a bicycle out of the boot and put it together then go any annoy all other road users!

Only joking, I'd say no a bike frame wouldn't fit, but it would be VERY close, some have plastic casing at the back of the boot for cd changers, amps etc, without these it might be possible!

Thanks for the info... I was thinking of putting my track bike in it to visit the velodrome... Looks like I will have to think again...

Oh, if your not taking it out on the road then I hope it fits!

In all honesty in sure it could be made to fit, my moving passengers seat forward and upright. Removing trim or certainly the luggage cover.

For the price of the car I'd be concerned about scratching the windows, panels etc

Good luck mate, wonderful cars, just buy one and make it fits.

Roof rack is of course another option, readily available

Buy a Merc A class, I bought one for the (ex) wife, take the back seats out, easy to remove, and you can get a bus in there.

I have a car that the bike fits in... Just thought the drive to the velodromes would be more fun in a Z3M

Roof rack !

Quite a few owners over on the coupe forum use this method for transporting bikes and they don't look too out of place either.

Tow bar and ball mounted back rack:

If found this link of a custom made one but I'm pretty certain there was a a factory option for Z3's.
I saw a nice Z for sale a few years back and he said he had a factory mount on it to tow his jet ski. Have to say I liked the look- one toy towing another toy!
