Just watched this vid and it clearly shows a lot of the common issues we see buying older cars. Looks a nice enough car from the outside, but once it goes up in the air

The guy in his own words says "I paid a lot of money for this"...

Just watched the video and it's not that bad really - apart from the damage/rust what can one expect from a 130k mile M car for £6,900?
The rest is to be expected really and not that bad as it could be.

If it's 3,5k to put right at Munich legends prices you can bet it's hell of a lot less elsewhere.

Otherwise it's a smart looking e36 with a desirable colour combo and still pretty standard, good investment.

I'll give him 5k to take the scrap off his hands...

Yeah, I agree in the main Dino. It's more that people buy based on looks, and that looked pretty tidy. If you are going to look at a car that age then you really need to get it looked over properly, so if he is down on the deal it's his own fault.

Im sorry but its the old adage "Buyer Beware", The guy is obviously either a complete Knob or the video is staged, I think the latter. I doubt very much you would test drive a car with ARB hanging off and then say "you know mate its got a huge knocking noise art the front I will give you £9k for it"...
