Hi all,

Well just to let you know i installed the the new angel eyes headlamps successfully (see new profile pic) and am happy with her new look.
I also installed a new throttle cable, also thumbs up.
I didn’t fancy doing the anti roll bar bushes myself so had my mechanic do these, feels a lot better, does however still track a little bit certainly better than before.
Anyway while on ramps I took a look under the car and noticed a fluid leak, just to add I have had to top up the brake/clutch fluid a couple of times over last 3 weeks.
Can anyone tell me best and worse scenario I’ll be looking at here?
Ie could it be just a new gasget needed or new clutch cyclinder?
To clarify clutch pedal does sometimes stick half way down, doesn’t feel like the same pressure either on pedal to previously either.
Can anyone can shed a little light in this subject?.... Thank you in advance

Sounds like clutch master and/ or slave cylinders. I would change both, you're more than likely to end up doing anyway. Can you see where the fluid is leaking from exactly?

Tony.

Hi Tony,

Thank you for your reply.
All I can tell you at this point is wherever the leak is coming from it has a cover plate over it, I can only guess at the cyclinder/slave area.
Not having the time to do this myself o will likely take it back to my mechanic.
They only fit oem parts as standard so I guess I’m looking at a few quid.
