Bought a runaround (MB CLS 2008)

Got a new runaround: Mecedes Benz CLS 3.0 V6 Turbo to see me over until my Polestar 2 is delivered:

I used to buy new cars, but I am starting to think dropping some money on something that will last me some time is a better bet (£3.900). Got it from my boss, and I am not planning to keep it long term, so no major investment…

Just a bit of background: the company I work for introduced a new perk, where we can buy (lease, really) a number of electric cars on a salary sacrifice scheme, with the cars effectively costing half the price (after taxes and fees discounted). The cars include full service cover for the three years of contract and free insurance (including business use).

I really wasn't going to buy an electric considering the prices, but this scheme sure helps. So, a Polestar 2 in on its way...
