Hi all,

I purchased my Z3 2.8 in July 2017 drove it striaght into the garriage until now. I have recently sold my car which was part of the plan and now want to restore my z3. I'm in Essex but I don't mind traveling. I'm looking to get the car painted and I believe now after reading through the forum some welding to boot floor due to the diff mount possibly failing. Looking for some pointers on who to contact, Parts etc, I'm new to BMW so any help would be great.
Once the car is done hoping to get to some of the shows.

Thanks

Matt

If it’s bodywork you need Tim Beard at Autoaid Kent is your man. Only over the river from you in Bexleyheath.

I wanted some very specific things done with mine, very subtle but almost every single panel is different to how it left the factory on mine now in one way or another. A bit of nightmare for a ‘regular’ body shop but no hassle for Tim.

The red Kobra in the pics is his own car, one could say he know how to take a Z3 apart and put it back together :)

Once you have a bodyshopnsorted the hardest bit is choosing the colour!
