I am looking into getting the sills done on my Zed as they have the bubbling of paint at the rear ends
Can any one recommend a body shop near me , South Yorkshire area ,and any idea of cost for doing this kind of thing, or does anyone know where you can buy paint from as I might be tempted to have a go at this myself as I have a compressor , not something I have done before though
Any help appreciated as always
Thanks
John

Not sure if you have read through this thread John, or if it inspired you to have a look at yours but worth a read through if you haven't. Plenty of tips if you want to have a go yourself. No idea on what the best paint to buy is though!

If you're going to have a go at doing these repairs yourself John, be aware that you can get a very good job from trade size aerosol cans especially on a narrow panel such as a sill. Personally I've used Halfords spray cans which they will make up to your paint code while you watch. Colour match has always been spot on. Best advice is just take your time, don't rush it.

Tony.

Agree with Tony. I have used the Halfords paint before. Just do not try and cover too much in one go as that is when you will get runs, same goes for when you apply the Lacquer
