Is there an adjustment to the convertible roof latch on a 2002 Z3?

Hi and welcome from me in Scotland :welcome:.

Yes you can open the upper front latch loosen the lock nut and screw the roof clamp hook in a turn then tighten the lock nut again

Yes! On the latch you will find a grub screw, undo this (if its not seized) and the latch can be screwed in or out.
Words of warning;
Dont round the grub screw or you will be in all sorts of bother, if its tight use some WD40 and let it soak.
Dont drop the grub screw its very small
Dont over tighten the latch as these can snap. The front of the roof should only squeeze down on the rubbers across the windscreen not be forced tight onto the metal work.

:thumbsup:

Hi @Bob Owner, :welcome: to the forum from me too in Staffordshire. Have you managed to sort your roof problem out?
