If you find that your headlights are looking a little dull then this might be caused by the plastic lens being foggy or discoloured.
A fantastic product available is 3M’s “Headlight Lens Restoration System“. It retails for around £15 on Ebay.

In addition to this kit you will need:
1 x Drill (Mains powered is best)
1 x Spray bottle filled with water
1 x Cloth

Around 30 minutes to complete the job
