BMW 7 Series E38 735i M Sport

Greetings all,
I have a curveball question. I am about to purchase an E38 (2001) 7 series (735i). As a fellow Z owner, I thought to ask any of you if you had any advice on these. I love the look of the car, especially with the M Sport package on it. Perhaps one of you might know of one for sale?

They offer great value at the moment, if its been well maintained and free of the dreaded rust and at the right price.
Capable of high mileage, not the most economical of cars depending what you intend to use it for.
Anything above £4k should get you a decent one any less be careful its cheap for a reason.

Thanks Paul. To be honest I am finding it very hard to get a decent one (with M Sport) for anything below 5k. The 735i I am looking at is priced a bit high, but condition and mileage are low (80k miles). Silver with Black.

No guarantees but paying a bit more up front can save pounds and grief later. If you go much over £5k you start to get into 2008 MY money although style wise i think the 2001 MY is the best

Hi WaveyDavey, I managed to locate and buy a 2001 735i Sport in Silver with Black. Pristine condition with only 79k miles. Not a spec of rust. Stored for 11 years. Nice! What did you get?
