Hi All,

I have a 1998 BMW Z3 for sale which a genuine 492 miles on the clock!!

The car has never been serviced, never had an MOT and has been dry stored in a garage since it was purchased. The car has a new battery and has been started every week so is running.

I have the three original keys, original paperwork from the dealership etc

This is a one off opportunity to buy a genuine classic car. This will be one of the lowest mileage Z3s in the country.

If anyone is interested in purchasing the vehicle, please contact me.IMG_4268.jpg IMG_4265.jpg IMG_4270.jpg IMG_4258.jpg

Thank you

George

A rare find for someone, probably end up being stored away again until values go up

You should let BMW UK know - they buy good ones for the their offices and collections.

Thanks for messaging me @weps999 before posting it up, we don’t normally allow first post sales but I’m happy to make an exception this time.

As for everyone else who will no doubt be chomping at the bit to value and generally critique this as a pretty unique Z3, be polite.

That’s a good idea, I’d forgotten about that.

As was said, it will probably be bought for some kind of collection and not driven much. If it was bought and used it would no longer be the rarity it is. Depends what you want a car for , a car to experience what it was designed for, or an exhibit. A marvellous opportunity to buy a 'recent' classic.

But, someone also has a unique opportunity to buy a delivery mileage Z3 and drive it from new. Maybe someone who couldn't afford to 20 years ago, but finds they can now. To me, that would be a better outcome than being stashed away in a collection but that of course is the privilege paid for by the new owner, if it finds one.

Fooking hell
I would love to see this just to see what a Z3 looked like factory fresh

Probably not factory fresh Stacey. Tyres probably shot all rubbers probably shot possible brake lines and unless air tight storage paintwork will probably need a good deep polish.
Yes as a 22 year old car a lot of money but as a classic sports car with delivery mileage (don't know if things have changed we used to say up to 500 miles was OK on a new car) it represents a great buy for the right owner.

Personally I think it is a shame to have a car sit and not be used. Its for driving not starting up once a week.

And letting an engine idle every week actually doesn't do it any good.

Yep but it is his car and so his choice to do as he pleases.
