Black or Chrome

So whilst I've a small amount of spare time between work and what not I decided to have a bash at spraying up some kidney grilles in gloss black. ATM the Zed is adorned with some chrome kidney grilles.
As a trial I have one of each. Which is best? Missus thinks black is quite fetching but I have yet to decide.

For me black works if the car is modified a bit ie, lowered, different wheels etc.

As yours is blue (the best colour of course) it does looks good with the black though.

I’m also a fan of doing them body colour.

I have toyed with going for a slightly darker shade of wheels but can't see me doing much else.
I was going to retain the chrome grills and add chrome shark vents but I like to keep things interesting and play around with ideas hence the small side project. Any ideas on the shark vents? Perhaps leaving them the same colour as the car works best in this blue?

I went with black on mine when she was resprayed. And yes I agree blue is the best colour @Dino D

Yep blue is the best colour but for me it’s chrome

On your car I would say black but on mine which is silver I would say chrome. Maybe matched to the body colour would work well.

I prefer chrome for the kidney grills but not sure for the side gills, I always preferred body colour but when I found a Z it had chrome. I now have both and change them to suit my mood.

I have black grills on my Atlanta blue which I prefer.

Chrome outer with black inner, especially if it's Topaz blue, and nothing else personally. That's how mine is so I may be biased
But I think the chrome outer stands out more with no other exterior chrome detracting from it

So in the end went with the chrome kidney grilles after staring hours on end at the black ones. Decided prefer chrome.
Now to work out the side vents...
