For Sale Black hood on frame near new. REDUCED!

In excellent condition, not far off new, only minus is beading to finish rear window not fixed on. Rear window is zipped, and very clear. No wear Mark's on the hood.

I'm not sure Stacey . Yes its water tight ok, and none of the wear spots they normally have. It was on the car when I bought it, the last owner said that the beading had been forgotten as an explanation! I've been lucky enough to get a new hood on a frame from Germany hence the swap, seemed easy.

Mind you, I'm just removing the hood, and that could be easier. Seems like the rear bow is bonded to the body.

The frame is in really good condition too, none of the aluminium decay on it.

Beading can be fixed as long as the fabric overlaps nicely the pastic bead when it's out - if it has shrunk a bit it will come out when you fold the roof. Is this an auto or manual top? Headlining inside? thanks

The edge for the beading does overlap nicely, it hasn't been used that much outside I guess. No headlining, standard roof.

Great! Are these difficult to fit? My Z has an electric hood but alas it's broken (although I'd prefer a manual hood for this exact reason) so just wondering if it'll fit and how difficult it may be. Thank you

Yes they fit quite easily, manual or auto. Auto has an extra control arm, easily removed.
