Out walking the dog this afternoon and the local farmers son was turning the field they cut yesterday and sat in the cab was his girlfriend. Glorious day and cab door open and the smell of new grass.
Glad it's been cut the dog can see were he is going without jumping up and down.

Some days you get a good feeling about your job.

Only cos the footpath goes through it. Once it is cut he lets the horses loose on it.

Our farmer had the same problems with kids and tents so he has ploughed the fields and planted them. Used to annoy as well as once the kids had finished their night out all the rubbish and usually the tent were left behind. Dogs had a field day with left over food and then were ill later.
Oh the joys of living on the edge of a large village.

I used to put cattle in the field but it can be a little dangerous with some cattle so a liberal coating of mature slurry does the trick .however this too has it's dangers, this is my son after "fixing" a blockage in the slurry tanker. @worstjobintheworld
