Anyone thats been looking for one of these, I found this in Lidl's. £13.99 I got one and have been using and it seems a cracking little unit for the money.
It does motorbikes, & cars 6 & 12 Volt.
It will charge correctly for batteries with a capacity of less than 14Ah and batteries of 14Ah to 150 Ah.
Also has a cold weather pulse charging so as to not damage a cold battery.
Also does Absorbent Glass Mat batteries (AGM batteries usually found on cars with start/stop)

The retention function is automatic once the battery is fully charged and means you can leave it connected.

It also has long leads

Good all rounder I think.

My guilty pleasure looking at the tools in Aldi & Lidl.

The only thing many of these chargers won’t deal with is really flat batteries. But they can be fooled into starting to charge by adding a charged battery in parallel. Conditioners that can cope with really flat batteries tend to be £100+ though. So £14 you can’t argue with.

I nearly bought one of these for a laugh, an adjustable ratchet, but decided it was probably be unusable in most situations and I have a load of ratchet spanners, still for £6 (i think) could be of some use to some??

If it's that or carry nothing with you I know what I'd have. I might even get one for my laptop bag that generally goes everywhere with me.

Yes I guess as an emergency tool to carry in the boot it could be handy
