Bargain Tools

Had to grab some tools the other day, and found Halfords were having a tool sale.

Got this set for £20, bargain! Includes deep reach sockets as well which is always useful.

Also needed a Dremel, and this came up on Amazon for £20 delivered (on Prime). Fully Dremel compatible and works a treat! Included the box of bits, cutters, polishers and so on.

Halfords had an offer on earlier this year where if you spent over £50 you got a £10 voucher so I bought the 1/2" and 3/8" sets then went back a few days later to get the 1/4" set. Before I set off I did a click and collect online and reserved at store to pick applying the discount code online dropping the price from £25 to £15. So when I gets there and presents my reservation number I also gave the chap the £10 voucher thinking they need to see it with qualifying previous purchase receipt. Only applied the discount again so only paid a fiver for the set RESULT

Also to note these modular sets fit perfectly in one of the large tool chest drawers and look great when you slide the drawer open. Much better value than their 150 or 200 piece socket sets.

They had a 3/8 socket set with deep sockets and standard sockets for a tenner not too long ago.

Got voted mega hot on hotukdeals, the tools are really very good quality!

I'm crap with mechanics as such,,,but bought a 1/2 and a 3/8 a few weeks ago,managed to do the front sprocket nut on the bike easy enough,,, feel good and look good tools,,, just need a tool box now lol

It's been absolutely brilliant,makes life easier for the little jobs I tackle .

Not in my local branch David,the smaller sets were half price but the larger one wasn't. Had to wait a while till they reduced them.
