I think some Fords are brilliant but that one always looked ‘already broken’ when new. Nothing lined up, even by the standards back then.

You have to work on a Mark 3 Escort to realise what rubbish they were/are. Really cheap and nasty. Equivalent Golfs were 1000 times better.

No doubt but I loved my series 1 XR3i, it looked much better than the Golf, in my view.

had a seirra xr4x3 2,8 6 months old when i bought it in 1987 in nimbus grey i thought it was the dogs Bo-----cks and it had 130 bhp , how thinks have changed
