My neck of the woods too, just outside Princes Risborough. I might be at Kop Hill - we usually are - but the Good Lady is having radiotherapy for ten consecutive days and might not be up to it.

Thanks BMBabe, we have to drive to Headington every day and she's in some pain from a lesion on her sacrum (almost the lowest part of the spine). It's supposed to ease after the radiotherapy but it's a hard time before that.

I hadn't realised there were quite so many places called Whitchurch! Thank for the suggestion, maybe when the heat's off this end.

Best wishes to your wife. I'm sure everything will go fine. The radiology guys are brilliant at what they do and super freindly making sure you're nice and comfy before starting and it's all over in 5 minutes.

I had 4 weeks of it. Monday to Friday with weekends off. That was 2 years ago.
