Any Zedders in the Isle Of Man

I'm over here for a few months working and just wondering if any Zedders over here. I do not have my own over here as mine was not ready by the time I had to start my contract but like to meet up for a beer or take me for a spin missing not having a vehicle at the moment.

A few months without your Zed Mark? I'd be in tears this time of year. Not had mine for nearly a month now, just keep looking at it under the car port gathering dust . What do you do to have you out there for that chunk of time?

@Shelly well I hope you are as I've been getting all sorts of weather in a day enjoy your hold though

@Grumpy I'm a nurse who's gone the self employed route for a change of scenery for a year or two to earn some pennies and take some self funded study. The opportunity was there to earn some pennies and I've never been to the isle before so the wife packed my bags for me and sent me to work.

@Lee I'm still waiting for the garage to fit the new shells, hopefully be sorted for when I next go home so hopefully I can pass it over for you to give it some much needed TLC.

Sounds like a plan. I have started booking people in from October onwards. Anything from Chassis bushes, Suspension, brakes. Anything really

You do realise you can speed over the mountain road from Ramsey Hairpin to the outskirts of Douglas. Some mighty road, just watch windy corner as its a tight bend round to the left then right.

And to quote ... There is no national speed limit - meaning the majority of roads may be driven at any speed which is safe and appropriate.... Yes that means....

That I would have new shell bearings to run in once I do get her back It is torture not having my car over here though but I'm sure some ales at some of the quay side pubs will help my sorrows I think I might take he bus out to the motor museum tomorrow.

Apparently, according to the Gospel of Jeremy Clarkson, you can be done for "Furious Driving" on the Isle of Man. What a thing to have on your CV.

Well I've exhausted my supply of greeting cards and no IOM hits 6/52 with no zed or other wheels no fun. I even eyed a mx5 for 1k over here but just would not be the same.

Lovely place to explore,it's like the whole of the UK in one island.But the roads have detirated in the last few years especially if you leave the TT course .You have the Manx classic 29/31 August and the Manx rally 17/19 September,you need a petrolhead buddy over there.
