Another new z3 owner

I’m Bryan. Live in the sunny midlands. Have a 2.2 o2 plate sport z3.

Bought this after selling my rover coupe. From Scotland unseen.

Big mistake. Car is rotten but drives great. And Enjoy the drive.

The list it needs is endless and expensive. So will be looking for a new one in the next few months.

Whats rotten? if its panels then join the club we have all been there, its nothing to serious given deep pockets and time If its chassis or inner sills then I understand.

List as follows

1.Both rear wings rotten.
2.Front wings rotten
3.Bonnet rotten and repaired badly close up
4.Wheels need refurb as don’t hold air
5.Steering wheel slip ring scratchy
6.Heated seat not working. Broke in chair
7.Hood scrap. Had new rear screen but glue is all over the roof
8. Stereo doesn’t work
9. Tailgate around lock corroded
10. Excelleration sensor needs replacing. Abs lights on dash
11. Fuel lines corroded and ideally need replacing
12. Power steering pipes corroded and need replacing
13. Covered in surface rust underneath.

Things I’ve had to do

Full service.
Abs sensors in wheel hubs
Crank sensors
Repaired electric seat motor
Air hoses repaced. We’re cracked
Replaced bulbs in dash

That’s off the top of my head
