We have camped many times in Andorra but never stayed in a hotel. We have stayed in an ski apartment but you have to go out to eat or self cater. Gail is right, Andorra la Vella is still the same, very busy with perfume, tobacco and alcohol shops. Pas de la Casa is the same. Most of our time camping there has been for the walking and when in the Zed, driving. There are many mountain roads to have fun on but it's all on a much smaller scale than the Alps. As for sightseeing, there are lots of places to mooch round, Soldeu, Canillo, Ordino for example. Also there are Ski lifts to ride up. One of our favourite walks is to Tristaina Lakes which at the top of the valley we usually stop in.
