Cameras and screens won't be that much mostly generic stuff adapted for use I would bet.

What about regulations on displaying live video (which includes dash cams) to the driver when moving? Would have thought that precludes the use of active mirrors even though it seems very sensible.
Camera's are inexpensive. Dashboards are becoming essentially soft - anything you want can be displayed by computer generated graphics - video is no exception. It's hardly new technology - just a different use.

I have that tek already, 50/50 driving, I drive to the pub and the C-in-C drives back. Seems fair

If I want to be driven, I'll call a taxi or take the bus...as many times as my laptop and desktops have gone belly-up, the last thing I want to do is rely on a computer to drive me anywhere.
