My Triumph GT6 at Seaton in the hot summer of 1976.
I had a mini traveller with Corbeau GT bucket seats, these had brass rings fitted into the fabric to let the seat "breathe" and I got in one day and my tee shirt rode up and I burned my back on the stupid rings. I got out much quicker than I got in!PS Remember summer of 76 too, folk were frying eggs on the pavement to show how hot it was. Had my first car them, an MG version of the Austin 1100 with plaggy seats, burnt my legs sitting on them!
Branded eh? Oh wish we could say the same again/ Was in Cornwall, think it was Llanhydrock House(?) we visited on the way back after St Michaels Mount. As Gail stated I too can remember the weather breaking around September. Last year I was thinking of going back again this year seeing as it's 40 years since last there. Lands End was just a sign post and a building as I remember, think I remember reading someone bought it and built a theme park :-( Innocent carefree days.I had a mini traveller with Corbeau GT bucket seats, these had brass rings fitted into the fabric to let the seat "breathe" and I got in one day and my tee shirt rode up and I burned my back on the stupid rings. I got out much quicker than I got in!
How many left @Jack RattThere aren't many left on the road, probably less than 50. I'm sure there's a site that will tell us
A few cones gone over!!This was the predecessor to my Zed, I owned it for about 20 years. I was always a Triumph fan.
