Hi not posted before so apologies if this is not the correct place , have used a b800 scan tool and get codes 2 and 3 . Code 2 says warn light and code 3 says supply voltage . These will not clear have removed after market connection from under drivers seat . Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Yes, you have posted in an odd place. Never mind, don't panic. If the Admin's don't like it they will move the thread to the right place.

Not sure what the "after market connection from under the drivers seat" could be. It's usually the passenger's seat that gets the after market connector for the occupancy sensor fault.

I suggest that you set yourself up with INPA on a windows device. The K-DCAN lead is cheap and the software is free. INPA will give you all the codes in the Airbag module. I suspect that there are more codes to be found, or a better description of the codes given. The code you don't want are the F0, 240 Internal Error code. See this thread if you do have this code: https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/...nal-Error-(F0-240-errors)-Finally-found-a-fix!

Get INPA from here and note the instructions for coding/calibrating modules in section D, 3 of the first post. https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/...tions-Experiences-Discussions-Experimentation

I would agree with Murray your current codes are a bit vague a more sophisticated diagnostic system will give you a better description.
Most common faults are related to the seats ( light will come on if seat removed and ignition turned on ) the drivers seat only has the seat belt pre tensioner on the seat belt stalk and the passenger seat has the same plus an occupation sensor ( drivers seat doesn't have this as the car assumes you can't drive it with being in the drivers seat ;) 🤔 )
Air bag control Modules can also go wrong also the 'clock spring ' this is the piece that is fitted to the rear of the steering wheel that allows the wiring to turn from the wheel to the column.
Airbags themselves seem to be reliable can't say I have ever read a thread on here where the actual airbag itself was the fault.
Better diagnosis is the key to tracking this fault.
Stephen.

For what it’s worth, the B800 first code tells you which chart to look on, in this case chart 02. The second number (03) is the actual fault (supply voltage). I have no idea what that means, sorry 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes i already knew that the first number i got was 38 and then fault codes 2 & 3 but i also have no idea what they mean . Perhaps all will be revealed when INPA is up and running
