Event After the Limborit

Hi all just though we would add this on;
Following the Dutch run that @pgunter is organising a few of us are travelling on to Switzerland and then to Austria the few being myself, @mwpe and passenger and @Jjim and passenger & @PHILIP BAXTER

We are doing the same run to Switzerland as last year as it was a nice run down and we know it works;
11th June Slenaken to Epinal,
12th June Epinal to Ulrichen (taking in the Grand Ballon)
Hotels booked are;
Ibis Epinal Center
Astoria in Ulrichen

13th June we are taking a trip across Switzerland doing the Furka, Oberalpstrasse and Fluelastrasse en route and then on to Zell am See in Austria (in the foothills of the Grossglockner) via a very scenic route
We will be staying at Sportcamp Woferlgut Campsite (Chalets) in Austria from the 13th June until 16th June then driving home over the Sunday and Monday

Sunday 17th Hotel Reims La Pompelle then driving to Calais for the return on the EuroTunnel on Monday 18th.

I hope so Bill I wanted to do these last year on the Switzerland visit but only managed the Furka as I had to shoot off to Austria to meet up with Midlife and Ann (via the motorways) wont make the mistake of using those again we are taking a very scenic route (long drive but hopefully worth every mile)

Plenty of time from Epinal to Astoria to do the Ballon Sustenpasse and Grimselpasse and just join the Furka for the drive in to the Astoria then take the Furka out en route to Austria

Have you thought about dropping down and doing the Albulapasse just before Chur then head up to the Fluelapass

Recommend taking the D431 and stopping here for Blueberry Pie and cream when you do the Gran Ballon

Doesn't that only go to Arosa? No where near Davros and the start of the Fuela?

We did the Ballon Sustenpasse and Grimselpasse on the way to the Astoria last year, this will be the fourth time I have done Furkha Sustenpasse and Grimselpasse but you can never get too much of them.

No it is further down But looking at it means you would miss the Fluela as it is the next Pass down and would bring you out the wrong side

I'll have you know I tootle along at a sensible pace its all you others that have a heavy right foot. I'd start a list if I had a few hours to spare.
