ABS ecu possible issue

Hi guys,

Thanks for accepting me here.

So I drive a BMW F36 430d.

Great car but looking for some help with an ABS issue.

The last part I’m changing is the abs ecu and have bought a second hand one from another 430d.

I’m having the rear right sensor throwing some strange readings so have changed the sensors and the bearing.

I changed the standard brakes for Msport with 370mm rotors on the front and 345mm rear.
I know this may make a difference but three sensors work fine and the rear right is not so good.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this and if anyone knows who could wipe and reprogram the ecu I have bought?

most members are probably trying to work out what a 430d is. I had to Google it. seriously someone will offer some advice.

Hi and welcome from me in Scotland

Reckon your answers on here may lie with the e89 z4 owners as the e89 and f46 are same date ranges so probably use a very similar ( or same ) type of Abs systems .

I’ll have a look through, the ABS light has not come on the last two days (160 miles) but am pretty sure it won’t be long before it does again
