No real problem acclimatising Frankie whether you are in a RHD or LHD - just have to concentrate a bit more. Instincts/reaction when something goes amiss can be a problem.
I have only ever driven on the RIGHT
in the States and although for the first ever time I did find it quite daunting subsequent visits have be fine and I got quite used to it in fact. I remember the first ever time getting in the car at Sanford airport in Orlando and thinking OH S**T what do I do here and in particular the first intersection I came to was huge with cars coming from all directions. I needed to go straight ahead and despite the lights being green I couldn't understand why cars coming in the opposite direction were turning left across the front of me and not stopping, so in a panic when there was a gap I just floored it and to this day everytime I have gone back I have never come across that situation again so I haven't a clue what happened and whether I did anything wrong or not but we survived. 
I've been in England several times when I was working for the casino that Caesars runs aboard ship . Each time we only had a limited amount of time ashore and usually had to be back on board the same day, so I always took public transportation which there in England always seemed well run and logical to use. By logical, I mean I could find everything and never had a fear of getting lost or not making it back to the ship on time. As a result, I never rented a car or drove someone else's car. I was always so intent on getting the correct bus or train that I can't say I ever took notice of the traffic from a driver's perspective. At that time, everyone was crazy about items from the Hard Rock Café, to I went to the one in London to get a few denim jackets to sell back here. Once we docked at Tilbury. I remember getting off the ship and taking a small walk along the river to a pub that had outside in front of it a picture of an old sailing ship that was about to sail off the edge of the earth. I dearly wanted to stop in but was short on time and had to get back to the ship because I wanted to take the ferry across to Gravesend. When I got there, I went to see a church (St. George) who's bell tower I could see from across the river. I visited the church and read about the history and was very much impressed. I walked through the graveyard looking at the dates on some of the graves which predated my country. I stood at the base of a memorial, looking up at it to be greatly surprised to see the statue of Pocohontas. I never knew she was buried in England. I later walked into the nearby town's shopping area to pick up some things I couldn't get at the ship's store. I stopped at a small restaurant to get fish and chips. It was the best I've ever eaten. I had to laugh to myself when I read this. I'm sure you meant that it was difficult getting use to driving the other way, but I wasn't really sure if you weren't giving a subtle hint about UK drivers.
