It's not expensive if you were looking to modify anyway. It's not as over the top it as it could be. I was chatting with someone the other day and he said these cars are now affordable to the boy racers... I think he's right. I love the z3 and a nice clean example always attracts compliments and attention... I think sometimes a car can attract a bit too much attention... But each to his own.

What the heck is that in the boot?

I thought the same. I would have to change the boot back to original spec

I like the car and its stance - the alloys would be the only thing I would change - the price, in terms of how it seems to have been modified and looked after, is justified - whether the seller achieves the asking price though is questionable.

Think the person who modified this car was on .net also seem to remember them saying the handling was not good with the hydraulics on. Sort of defeats the object of a sports car.
Forgot to add I also like the look of the car and I think this is the second time I've seen it for sale.

Nicely looking car but I wonder if the mods would have changed the car too much.
Very low on the suspension but I think that's for effect in the photos. Am sure he'd ride it higher in normal use.
My nephew parks his car with the bodywork hugging the ground and sometimes with just one corner down. Makes it look like the suspension has collapsed so nobody would thing about stealing it. That I see as the only benefit to be honest.

Do those wheels cause cooling problems on the brakes?

Really nice looking car. I would be dubious and take it for a drive and see how it handles on those hydraulics.

He's trying to recoup some of the money he's put in, 4-5k would be my estimate going by the condition of the engine bay area.

But it can be raised and lowered on the hydraulics not a bad trick
Agree, but you will never know how much to raised it during the traffic, especially in the city and accidentally on the road,in my opinion.
Another stress source.
But for a exhibition car is a nice project.

Seem to remember 4k being mentioned just on the hydraulics so with the rims probably 5k just in those two mods. Cars pretty standard apart from that.

Going by those costs, why would you sell it like that? I would split it.

I'd doubt it'll go fast enough now for the brakes to overheat . more of a boulevard cruiser than a sportscar now i think
