A Run over Kirkstone Pass

Hi Everyone, lovely sunny day on saturday, made my self a picnic and headed off up to Bowness towards Ambleside then over Kirkstone Pass to Patterdale, Glenridding and Ullswater. Had some lunch on the banks of Ullswater , a walk along the edge of the lake, then headed back over Kirkstone.

Really enjoyed myself, sometimes its lovely just take off, enjoy the zed, roof down all the way and brilliant weather.

You're right @SeaSurfer, sometimes the unplanned trips out are the best. Especially when the weather is kind. That scenery is stunning, you wouldn't go abroad if we had great weather. Nice Zed too.

That's what we do when we get the chance weather permitting,pack a picnic and head for the Derbyshire hills .

Uncle Moz, i had the new Z4 but i went back to the z3 18 months ago. This one is a 2.2 auto, superb for our tricky little roads up here and is definitely a keeper.

I am pretty sure i have seen Tess today too. Couldnt see the reg plate as she is parked in a driveway and only got a glimpse, could only see half of her, but im fairly sure its her. Going to have another drive passed this weekend. I wish i hadnt sold that zed, but at the time it was the right thing to do
