I just saw theses pictures of an accident in the next county on Monday evening. A 1986 Nissan 300Z.

Apparently the owner was removed from the seat, still belted in and taken to a local hospital with none life threatening injuries. I think he was a lucky man.!

Amazing amount of energy required to do that to a car, and the tree just lost some bark. I'll bet the guy had a few aches the day after the accident.

Wasn't really a very big tree either ! Ouch as said one lucky person was pulled from that 2 ft in a different direction and that would be very different

To be honest it made me wonder if the car hardly previously been a cut and shut repair. To break clean in two is not unheard of but strange all the same.

Must have been some structural problems although I recall seeing a similar result on an almost new Audi RS4.

It was actually an RS6
