I live over here in NL but I still had to check the plate online .... :rolleyes:
The main cities are ok to remember mate but the more obscure ones i rely on the C-in-C, she worked in the British Forces Germany (BFG) licensing department when at Gütersloh and was responsible for all driving licence issues for everybody. When peeps came to register their new cars and get a BFG license if they were nice she'd do a quick turnaround, if not they'd be at at the bottom of the pile. Oh, it did help that her boss was the Station Warrant Officer :nailbiting:

The main cities are ok to remember mate
I think its a Dutch thing not to show any interest in German plates as we just see to many of them over here, especially in the summer where I live on the coast, as there are lots of Germans here on holiday.
Also of course lots of German trucks going to and from the ports.
