Well had a day off and there was nobody about to bother me i thought i would get stuck in seat runner mod and while the drivers seat was out, have ago at fixing the out bolster. This had been flattened but the previous owner.
Well after a good days work of fiddling, filing and faffing about all is back together. No rocking backwards or forwards and while i had the backrest cushion off a bent the bolster supports in slightly which makes them more huggey.
As its a warmish afternoon i thought i might go and enjoy the autumn colours in Windsor Great Park. Well any excuse to blast up and down in a load of leaves............ kid thing i know.
Any way good excuse for a few photos. The old girl cleans up alright.

A very constructive day for once.

Nice pics - what did you do with the seat bolster - re-fill or tape-up existing material?

On the back part of the drivers seat theirs two little wings that support the bolster. Over time it cuts its way through the foam. If left long enough it cuts through the leather. Well court mine just in time. Mine was quite a neat cut so a bit of carpet glue and gaffer tape and all sorted. Once the leather covers back on its all quite firm. While it was all apart i bent the wings in a little. Its pulled the bolsters in a little. In hindsight wise done a tad more. But hey will do.
