For Sale 2002 Z3 3.0 Auto selling advice

I have 2002 Z3 3.0 Auto that has done around 120000 its in Titan Silver with a black hood. The last mot expired in 2020 during the Covid lockdown and it has been stored in my dry garage (attached to house) since then unused. It has done 300 miles since its last MOT. Everything functions, no warning lights.

Life got in the way and I never got round to getting it MOT’d again.

I know it will need a few bits doing for the MOT, Brake pads, maybe ball joints etc.. but the car is in pretty tidy condition all round. It has been started up once a month and run up to temperature and moved in and out of the garage to keep everything free.

I really just want to sell it as it is without MOT as I need the space back in my garage but it really seems too good to break. Any idea on what it is worth selling without an MOT.

Why don’t you take it for an MOT .. might even pass! But if not at least a prospective buyer knows what they are dealing with and will give a better indication on sale price.

Get it mot’d like everyone mentioned ..
You can get 1 day insurance cover to get her to the test station.
You don’t need tax & and mot to arrive at the test station ”IF ITS PRE-BOOKED”..
Give it a good drive to get surface rust off the brakes or they will fail this ..
Also put this stuff in the tank , “cataclean“…put this stuff in around 1/4 tank if possible then give her a good Italian tune before arriving at test station…& Make sure the car is up to temperature before arriving & “keep engine running if you got to wait before testing “ as a lot of Zeds unfortunately do fail on emissions if not up too temperature..

Looks like a genuine 3.0 Sport (Rightly or wrongly in some folks eyes "the one to have")...I'd get it MOT'd otherwise you will end up giving it away for 3K

Appreciate the input from all.

With hindsight it does make sense to MOT it, just to understand whats needed to put it back on the road and then decide on the best way to move it on.
