Selling my beloved Z3 due to a change in circumstance, it's a 2002 2.2i Sport in Estoril Blue with Black classic Leather and Blue Hood, in my opinion one of the best and rarest colour combinations. It's done 75073 miles, MOT'd until June 2021, passed with 2 advisories.
The factory optional extra's are:
Individual Estoril Blue paint
Black Classic Leather
Dark Blue Hood
Electric Operated Hood
Heated Door Mirrors/Washer Jets
Air Conditioning
BMW Loudspeaker Hi-Fi system
The sports had a limited slip diff and heated seats as standard plus 17" Y Spoke Alloys, these are in good condition and also have nearly new Falken Tyres with 7mm on the front and 6mm on the rear.
Work I've had completed so far:
Replaced the stereo head unit with a new Pioneer Bluetooth single CD/USB one, so you can stream music and also take phone calls etc ( the original dealer fit 6 cd is in situ in the boot. )
The front bumper has been completely repainted
Rear bumper corner has been painted
Upgraded Powerflex bushes fitted front and rear
New Tie-end rods fitted ( Lemforder )
New Radiator
Yaw sensor replaced under the passenger seat
Brake pads and discs fitted all round ( Pagid )
Off-side door mirror mount replaced with an X8R composite one
I've just had an oil service and brake fluid change completed and an air con re-gas ready for the summer, so it's got 5 green lights
So there's a few bits that need slight attention, these are listed below:
A pillar needs re-painting on the inside near the latches
Drivers seat-belt guide plastic clip has broken
Leather on the bolsters of the drivers seat is worn.
Seat Bushes need replacing as there's a small amount of play
Stitching on the inside of the steering wheel is starting to 'undo'
The Hood is worn in places but is watertight
The near side rear wing has been painted previously prior to me owning the car, it's an ok job but not perfect
There's hardly any rust on the car and overall the bodywork is in good condition and the major mechanics are sound, this car has the potential to be beautiful, it now needs someone else to take ownership, the list of work required in my opinion is reflected in the asking price. If is was in mint condition I would be asking north of £6k for it
It's got 7 dealer stamps in the service book, the handbook is complete but there is only 1 key
