Hi friends, quick question.... I have a 2000 z3, completely stock, and I have a chance to acquire ( for free) some beautiful 17x8 , 3 series rims.... Will these fit, and if so .. what tire size would I need to get. Thanks so much
T.

I would think more info required in the way of the offset from the hub. Someone on here will be able to assist as to whether they will fit and if spacers are to be used. Also best tyre sizes. I’m no expert on the subject so cannot help directly.

Hi Tom you should find the style of wheel on here,

If you click on the wheel style it opens a page which tells you the size and offset.
Find your original wheels and do the same and you can compare the offset of each type of wheel.

As Tony said you can find them on the style site - http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/73

They are 17x7J wheels with an offset of 47. They'll fit fine, 215/45R17 tyres seems to be the standard size. You could add between 10-15mm spacers easily to help them sit better / more flush with the arches.

You can go up to 7-1/2JX17 ET41 front and 8-1/2JX17 ET:41 rear without any issues.
The size and offset (ET) should be stamped in the inner side of the wheels youre after.

I found the wheel arches quite gracious and have no trouble with the 20,s on mine, running 245/35 20 front and 275/35 20 rear, they are terrible, unless on nice roads, which we dont have round here. But sure look purdy...
