Due to unforeseen circumstances, very unforeseen, i need to sell my Z3
Got this just a few months ago with the intention of giving it a lot of love and attention. Which it has had up til now. Yes, the V5 is in my name
Its a 2000 wide bodied 2.0 facelift, in titan silver with electric leather seats. The seats need re-coloured as the previous owner had them red and it looks like it wasn't done right to start with.
When i got it, it was coughing a fair bit, so replaced the faulty coil at cyl 3, new denso twin tip plugs, gapped to 0.7 as i was told and then found the culprit which was a split in the top crankcase breather, this was swapped out and it runs good now. However, still a little lumpy on cold mornings but fine after a few minutes when it comes up to temp..
The roof is water tight, with a fairly new window that has the scuff mark on it, but that is easy fixed with G3 and a buff.
All the electric bits work, apart from the roof, i think it needs the switch bypassed in the head lining, but i have it on manual now and its great.
The car has had some paint in the past and looks very nice, however it does have the obligatory bubbles on the rear arches and a small bit of bubbling at the rear of the sill covers.
It needs a new throttle cable as this one is sticky, already had the throttle body cleaned at a garage, so cheap repair.
Only one key when i got it and the battery is dead on it, not changed it yet, but it all locks and opens with the key from either lock, drivers or boot so no central locking issues.
Tyres are legal, 3x Bridgestone and one cheapo which looks now, but i was going to replace all 4 at some point.
Also has very good condition Z4 alloys
Car has aftermarket angel eye lights which work, however, when they were installed the previous owner never had them aligned correctly, so that needs done before mot time, which is October this year i think.
All in all, its a presentable car, and i love driving it, but sadly needs must, so its up for sale. Not perfect by any imagination, but something that you can potter about fixing and bringing back to a good standard.
The car owes me just over a grand, so thats what its up for sale at here, or on Zorg, this is the only places it will be advertised until next weekend, then it will go on Ebay for £1500
So if your looking for a wee project and dont want to spend a load of cash, get yourself a bargain, its here for anyone to come and see, nothing to hide and a very honest description. Wish i didnt have to sell, however, as i say, needs must
