Hi Zed friends. It's with much regret that I have to sell my beloved 1997 Z3 2.8 wide body.
The car has had a lot of money spent on it including new shocks all round, struts, CAT box, tyres, Recent red roof from Jack Smith in Swansea, ABS sensor. So it now runs like a dream. 9 months mot. 128k miles. Small scuff on o/s door. £150 fix.
it's got an electric roof. it doesn't have a lot of other gadgets but I think that spoils it anyway
I'm looking to try and make back some of the cash I've spent, not make a profit.. so I'm asking £2500. Need to sell so please get in touch.

Glad I had that response guys. After a lengthy test drive the two men came back and found fault with some petty things. I wanted 3k. He'd offered 2.5k by text. He then proceeded to offer £2k to me. I packed it away and sent them home. I mean?!theyd seen mint ones for £1600?!. B&&&sh&&!

It has an hour left on eBay. If it doesn't get near 3 it gets packed away.
No more silly time wasters. You're right!

For context mine cost 2k but has sports seats, heated, chrome pack and harman kardon but needed some cosmetics. With only 85k on the clock.

Nope. Maybe you're on to something. Events. Hmmm.
Let me work on a place to keep it. Shuffle my two cars in my street is annoying me somewhat. Permit parking see. Or buy another permit. Plus the rain is killing her.

They're only worth what someone is willing to pay, that's the problem here. We all think our cars are worth more than they are in reality because we've invested so much care and attention on them. You never get that back on a used car, ever!

Tony, very true. I think my issue is its worth more to me as a nice thing than its monetory value. I won't sell it for 2 grand because it's not worth me selling it for that. It might book at that for its condition but if that all it's worth to someone then, yeah, I should wrap it up and keep it till the sun comes out. If I had a drive or garage I wouldn't of started this thread cause I'm as nuts about my car as you are yours. I've got a week car as well and two in the street is a bi***. Anyway. You lot are worth keeping it. Thanks.
