1998 BMW M Roadster w/125,000 miles
Silver with black interior and soft top
Original BMW Cold Package
Bilstein Sport Shocks
H&R Sport Springs
Dinan Strut Tower brace
Dinan cold air intake
TMS offset control arm bushings
Turner Motorsports emissions friendly fuel map
M Performance slotted front rotors
Upgraded stereo with 4 channel amp, updated speakers and iPod adaptor. Looks OEM.

Adult owned
Always garaged

No track days or serious beatings

Car is in excellent working condition with all of the major service's done recently: Vanos unit replacement, Clutch, entire cooling system, suspension bushings, brakes, spark plugs, emissions hoses, etc. Even the injectors and ignition coils have been replaced in the last 40k miles.

I'm only selling the car due to a career change which has forced me to need cash at this moment. This car has been babied by two BMW aficionados and maintained mechanically to the highest level possible. All service records for the car's entire life are included with the car, verifying how well it's been maintained over the years. It is the best example of an ORIGINAL M Roadster I've ever see and it's also the lightest/most raw version of the car. It really hurts that I need to sell it, but I'm stuck either selling the car or moving out of California, so the car must go.

Asking $8,500

Located in Los Angeles, CA.

Please e-mail me at tye@madducracing.com or call 818 five two one 9508

Will be more then happy to ship anywhere in the US.

Good luck with the sale. This would be better than a time share buy it and fly over to the U.S.A to drive it a couple of times a year,I'm sure @FRANKIE would make a little room for it or drive it to @t-tony s house .sounds tempting!

Good value, but I should imagine that early model M values in the US will be significantly different to the UK due to quantity available (circa 9000 S52's) and the 240hp power output.

It's good value when you compare it with the $2000 a fellow member sold his hard top for last week

It looks like a good price for the car. If someone bought it and wanted to keep it here, I could probably keep it in my drive as soon as I sold the 1.9 which I will probably do in the next two months. The winters are harsh here and it would have to be covered as I have no garage. If someone bought it and wanted to keep it at @t-tony's house you could see what can be worked out with him. An arrangement might be possible for him to keep it there and allow him to use it on his trips to Florida. This way, the owner wouldn't have to pay for storage, and Tony wouldn't have to rent a car. This is all just a thought. If someone bought it and had to pick it up in California and drive it back, I'd offer to help. (Another great cross country trip). Its a nice trip from California to Florida this time of year. I'd be happy to help out with anyone's plans as best as I can. Frankie

I would love that, but, and there's always a but, I have no garage I have a very large games room.:( Also I/we would have to take the driving test each time we came over if we kept a car at our villa.

Originally due to emissions the US had the S52 engine instead of the S50 which the rest of the world got (puts out around 250bhp). Eventually they did switch to the S54 engine which complied with the emissions regulations.

Because we're not resident Hugh. We can hire cars over there and drive on the UK license but if we owned a car over there then things are different.

Tony.
