For Sale 1.9 Zed, for project or parts.

As above, i'm selling my beloved Zed, as she's blown a head gasket.
However, the work undertaken prior has been pretty extensive, making her a viable project or good for some nearly new parts.

List of work undertaken:
Refit of cooling system including pump, radiator, expansion tank.
New disks and pads all around
New front bushes
New spare wheel

The rest of the chassis is in superb condition with only cosmetic rust on a chassis rail, body panels are in superb condition and the interior is immaculate. Comes with soft top stowage cover, and transparent engraved windbreak for the roll hoops.
Clean MOT which expires in April.

£120 in parts for head gasket set new head bolts . Then new oil and filter and coolant.
This is what is involved in doing the job .

Found on You tube when I was doing Lynne's engine was a useful watch .
If it's an 8v the head will need removed to check it's not the head cracked (m43 can suffer this ) rather than gasket .
On the plus side m43 8v easier to take apart than m44 16v engine.

Yeah, the feeling I've gotten is that it's worth it to repair her instead. I just need somewhere to store her while we get our own place sorted and that could take a year or more.

My concern is that this is the second head gasket it's blown, and I'm not totally sure I'm willing to shell out for an engine with those sorts of gremlins. If I had the space to do it cheaply myself it wouldn't be an issue, but I'd rather not sink another 1.2k into her to wind up doing it again in a few years time.
