I have just upgraded my front brakes on the 2.8 to the 300mm ones from the 3.0litre.
So this means I have a set of all the parts required to upgrade a 1.9 zed's front solid discs, to the vented version as found on the bigger engine Zeds.
The set comprises of the wider callipers, wider calliper carriers, and two vented discs (+ a couple of the spring clips).
The discs are Pagid ones, they have been cleaned up and are just over 21mm thick, so loads of life left in them yet.
The carriers have been shot blasted and coated with high temp zinc aluminium spray paint.
Both callipers are genuine BMW ones and have both been shot blasted, refurbished with new seals and then coated with high temp zinc aluminium spray paint.
Only things not included are pads, and the rubber bungs for the back of the slider pins.
I did this upgrade on my wife's 1.9Sport Z3 and it makes the cars brakes a lot better.
I am looking at £140ono for the set, and first call goes to a buyer attending either Zfest or Gaydon as they are heavy to post.
Posted option will only be entertained if there are no takers at the shows first..
