One hell of a transformation Lee.

The engine has been built to take boost so who knows what the future holds.I reckon it won't be long until you fit some forced induction there, that's what I am hoping
I was going to make a testimonial pageYou forgot to mention how damned good it drives now!
Correct, so the oil catch can replaces the CCV unit. The CCV body has three connections, one from the rocker cover, one to the inlet manifold and a drain line to the sump via the dipstick. You blank off the dipstick drain and use just the two other lines as your in and out on the catch can.Is the oil catch can a replacement for the CCV or is it in addition to? I'm looking on your photo for a diverter tube from your rockerbox feeding both but can't see one so I guess it's a replacement? Nice job lads
Careful with the Ebay catch cans, most only have a baffle. Look for a can with a filter and baffle. Not used my 2.2 yet but might just do this mod anyway. Seller told me it doesn't really use oil anyway. Had a look on the bay and they're dirt cheap, all types from 'boy racer blue' to oem looking black. So no smokey exhaust tail pipes as I've seen when following a 2.2. Thanks for the info Lee.
