My brake calipers vary between silver and rusty. The car is the Daker Z3 M series. Question I have is, should I have the Calipers :

A) resprayed red
B) resprayed yellow
C) leave them alone

Instincts say C) as everything on the car is original, even if they do look crap. Asking group for advice now as need to get the Dakar paint touched up in couple of small rust spots, so any Caliper respray would make sense at the same time.

Sensible suggestions as always welcome

I would go for yellow or silver, silver has the edge over yellow as it will hide the build of brake dust better than yellow.

On a highly desireable car like a Z3M in a rare colour like Dakar Yellow (can’t think for the moment if I’ve even seen another) I would keep it subtle. Let the body colour do the talking.

I would have black or silver.

Not quite on-topic, I know, but I've just done my e46 brakes, full strip and paint, and got a kit from Biggred containing everything needed to refurb all four calipers for £47.50. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/for-BMW-...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
Don't know if they do something similar for the Z3Ms, and too busy at the moment to go looking. Got a set of wheels waiting for another coat of paint.

Definitely a high temp silver finish, red would add too much horse power !
